Announcing 28 Day Reboot!

Especially if you’ve tried and failed in the past to clean up your house and keep it that way.

Society’s current norms guarantee a house that’s overflowing with stuff.

Throughout our entire lives we follow an established plan. We start school at age 5 and our days are scheduled from 8-4. Our parents make sure we go to bed on time.

Soccer practice, piano lessons and Girl Scouts keep us moving from 1 activity to the next.

Then we leave school and enter the working world. We are told when to arrive and what to do. We have schedules, calendars, and deadlines.

But no one tells you when to clean your house.

No one makes you spend the weekend decluttering the garage.

No one shows you how to keep your craft room from becoming a dumping ground.

And for the things that aren’t scheduled, something more urgent usually wins out.

The dog gets sick, you spend months on a volunteer event or you’re just so tired at the end of the day that you have no interest in tidying a cupboard or throwing away expired makeup.

And so over time the things in your home pile up.

You inherit precious belongings from loved ones who’ve passed away.

And your body protests when you try to pull an all-night cleaning session. Panic cleaning may have worked when you were 22 but at 62, it will knock you out for an entire week.

People don’t address the problem until an emergency forces them to (maybe a broken hot water heater, a pest infestation or the urgent need to host house guests) OR until someone passes away and the family is left to pick up the pieces while deep in the midst of grief.

After 20 years of these patterns, you’ve got a REALLY big mess and no clue how to tackle it.

And even if you could tackle it, clear out the clutter and go back to enjoying your home again….

… you have no idea how to maintain it. Because even in later years, life hasn’t slowed down and wasn’t that the problem in the first place?

In order not to lose decluttering momentum, you need 3 things:

  1. Structure without overwhelm.
Don’t waste precious time or energy deciding what to work on.
  2. Accountability to stay on track and finish what you started

  3. Habits to get the work done automatically

28 Day Reboot will give you all 3!

Here’s how it works.

#1 – Daily assignments give you structure.

Every day I’ll post a short assignment in our private Facebook group.

Login, read the instructions and do your assignment.

Report back in the group.

Catch up with your team and your coach during your weekly accountability call.

Get even more motivated and equipped with the weekly bonus activities (see below!)

You’ll see the wins stack up day by day.

The wins compound over time just like the value of a home going up over time.

It’s not rocket science, but it is magic when you do a little bit each day.

We take Sundays off.

#2 – Stay Accountable with a Team on Your Side

One of the biggest influences we see in our programs is the accountability that comes with being part of a group.

In 28 Day Reboot, you’ll see this formalized for the first time.

After you register, you’ll select an Accountability Team to join. Each team has a 30 minute group call once a week. You’ll check in with your team leader (a Decluttering School Coach).

You’ll be able to report on your progress, get help if you’re stuck, and enjoy camaraderie with your coach and with others who are doing this work in their own homes.

Accountability Calls are 30 minutes each and are scheduled on:

Wednesdays at 8-8:30 pm EDT with Linda Bee (4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27)

Thursdays 10-10:30 am EDT with Selena Jones (4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28)

Saturdays at 12-12:30 pm EDT with Julie Wobbe (4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30)

Accountability Calls are recorded as are ALL calls except the two Decluttering Miracle Calls. All calls and videos are closed captioned.

The accountability of the group to show up each day was incredible!

The pace that we could work by following the steps given. I love the kitchen zero, using my timer to get a task done was excellent for me, this will be with me forever. The 28 reboot was exactly what I needed. A community of support and steps to become better  and enjoying and loving my home. I have more work to do, but this was a great start for me. I love our weekly calls,  and our daily post with before and after pictures... My life has being transformed.

#3 - Build habits that will serve you for the rest of your life

The habits that we build into the 28 Day Reboot are things that most of our community didn’t grow up with. Without these habits, housework and clutter is a HUGE struggle. Life is an uphill battle when you never learned the things that we’ll teach you.

But the good news is that these habits are simple to learn and don’t take a lot of time, especially when you practice them in our group format.

Your house will stay cleaner with less effort (I promise this is no exaggeration).

You’ll surprise yourself by doing what we call “passive decluttering” without even planning to.

You’ll start to view your home with new eyes and taking care of it will become much more automatic.

You’ll have more time for crafts, for family, or for yourself.

I always tell my clients that they aren’t lazy; they just need better habits. Good habits are the fairy godmother of a clean home; the work gets done almost as if by magic.

Each week we’ll focus on a different area of the home.

28 day themes
  • Week 1: Kitchen
  • Week 2: Bathrooms
  • Week 3: Living Areas
  • Week 4: Bedroom Closet & Clothing

Plan to spend 20-30 minutes per task per day.

Enjoy these bonus activities to keep you motivated

Besides your daily assignments and weekly Accountability Calls, you’ll be invited to 1 additional call every week to inspire motivation and tackle your assignments!

You will receive a link to a printable calendar for this course, so you can mark your calendars and not miss anything!

Bonus Added!

This bonus video training with printable notes will give you a desensitization protocol for dealing with a space or a room that causes you anxiety.

Have I seen this material before?

While Sarah may have mentioned some of these ideas before, she’s never taught these concepts in this format. This is all new material in brand new videos with a brand new private Facebook group.

How much time should I plan to do 28 Day Reboot?

We recommend 20-30 minutes a day. Sundays are off. Feel free to skip a day and catch up later.

How is 28 Day Reboot different from the OLAB challenge?

OLAB is a quick sprint and is designed to teach you 5 concepts. It’s fast and it’s packed into a 1 week period. The original OLAB is very limited in scope, designed to give you some quick wins and then be over.

In 28 Day Reboot you will ride on the momentum you generated during OLAB week with the quick assignments you’ve come to enjoy. We’ll slow down a bit (no daily Q&As) and help you find a rhythm that allows you to make continued steady progress toward the home of your dreams. Stick with us for this extra 28 days and make a huge difference in the state of your home.

Do I need to use Facebook to do 28 Day Reboot?

Facebook is the hub for this program. All the material will be on our website as well as Facebook. However, you will miss out on the community aspect if you’re not on Facebook.

What if I have a disability?

If you cannot work for long periods of time due to physical challenges or illness, it’s even more important to clear out the clutter. We encourage you to take your time, take breaks when needed and count every win, no matter how big or small. This is how you make life easier which is especially critical if you need to ration your energy.

What if I can’t do every single assignment?

Every week we’ll have a “choice” day where you can swap out the assigned task if a different task makes more sense for you. If you’re short on time, take that day as a free day instead.

Decluttering School work is not intended to be done “perfectly.” It’s intended to show you how to make progress and how to shift your habits over time. Perfection is not required (great news!)

I’ve helped hundreds of thousands of people find peace and freedom in their lives by decluttering their homes.

I want to share that feeling with you, too!

Having an organized home is easier than you think when you use my simple tips and tricks.
